Welcome!Welcome to the Brown-Fisher Association!
Thanks for taking time to visit us. We hope that these pages provide insight into our organization, its history and its purpose. Collectively, we and our other supporters are believers in families, their impact on our past and their importance to our future. Our goal is to honor our Brown and Fisher ancestors and to set examples for our descendants who we hope will carry on our traditions and family reunions/annual meetings. Additionally, our goal is instilling the importance of preserving family heirlooms and properties such as the historic 1766 Michael Braun House, owned by Rowan Museum, Inc. which manages day-to-day operations of the house and grounds. To that end, we seek to raise funds to ensure that the Michael Braun House, its grounds and other family properties are preserved and enhanced. Regardless of whether you join our membership, we invite you to our annual meetings (reservations preferred), generally held on the third Saturday in September at the Michael Braun House on Old Stone House Road in Granite Quarry. In recent years, we’ve joined with Rowan Museum to co-host Germanfest, a celebration of our German heritage, following the annual meeting. For more information on this event, please visit the Rowan Museum’s website. We welcome your feedback and questions. Visit our Contact Us page. Danke schoen! |
